SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Among the companies whose shares are likely to see active trading Monday are Adobe Systems, H&R Block and CSK Auto.
Adobe Systems Inc. ADBE is forecast to report earnings of 48 cents a share in the fourth quarter, according to analysts polled by Thomson Financial.
H&R Block Inc. HRB is expected to report a loss of 37 cents in its fiscal second quarter.
CSK Auto Corp. CAO is projected to post earnings of 9 cents a share in the third quarter.
ACI Worldwide Inc. ACIW is estimated to report earnings of 33 cents a share in the fourth quarter.
After Friday's closing bell, Google Inc. GOOG said it debuted a new service that takes aim at online encyclopedia Wikipedia. Google is calling the service "knols," and made the announcement on one of the company's corporate blogs. Udi Manber, a vice president of engineering at Google, said the term knol stands for a unit of knowledge, and that the service is currently being privately tested.

LM Ericsson Telephone Company ERIC, XM Satellite Radio Holdings XMSR, Ross Stores Inc. ROST, Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc. PTEN and Sepracor Inc. SEPR will be removed from the Nasdaq-100 Index as part of its annual re-ranking, effective Monday, Dec. 24, the Nasdaq Stock Market said late Friday. Replacing those stocks will be Hologic, Inc. HOLX, Focus Media Holding Ltd. FMCN, Hansen Natural Corp. HANS, Steel Dynamics, Inc. STLD and Stericycle, Inc. SRCL.
Callaway Golf Co. ELY and TaylorMade Golf Co. have agreed to settle a patent license dispute. Under the agreement, each company will get specified rights to make products under patents owned by the other, covering such products as drivers, irons and golf balls. Callaway said specific details of the agreement are confidential.
Cameron International Corp.'s CAM President and Chief Operating Officer Jack Moore will replace Sheldon Erikson as chief executive. Erikson will maintain his role as chairman. The flow-equipment provider named Charles Sledge, currently vice president and corporate controller, to be financial chief. Both appointments will become effective April 1, the company said.
Franklin Resources Inc. BEN raised its quarterly dividend to 20 cents a share, up 33.3% from the previous quarter, the company said. The dividend is payable on Jan. 11 to stockholders of record on Dec. 28.
Intel Corp. INTC will stop promoting its "Viiv" brand of Internet video programming that connects to living room televisions, The Wall Street Journal said on its Web site. The newspaper said the company announced plans to use a modified version of the brand on chips in entertainment-oriented computers that use dual-processor chips.
Nanogen Inc. NGEN Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Robert Saltmarsh will retire at the end of February and will be succeeded by Nick Venuto, who is currently executive director of finance.
Nortel Networks Corp. NT filed a lawsuit against Vonage VG, alleging that Vonage violated nine patents related to Internet phone services, the Wall Street Journal reported on its Web site late Friday, citing a Nortel spokesman. The spokesman told the newspaper that the lawsuit countered claims made by Vonage that Nortel had violated three of its patents.
Nymex Holdings Inc. NMX, the parent company of the New York Mercantile Exchange Inc., will raise per contract fees for NYMEX and COMEX futures and options products. Nymex said NYMEX futures and options fees will rise 10 cents for members and 5 cents for cross-division trades. Nymex non-member customer rates will remain unchanged, the company said. COMEX futures and options fees on the trading floor will increase 20 cents per side for members, 15 cents per side for cross division trades, and 10 cents per side for customers, the company said.
SLM Corp. SLM said Chairman Albert Lord will take on the added title and responsibilities of chief executive officer. C.E. Andrews, the previous CEO, will become president, SLM said.
