Calico Arts and Crafts 2019 Entrance Fee

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Calico Spring Arts and Crafts Show will be this weekend, March 16 and 17. Located just four miles southeast of Highway 319 on Highway 133 in Moultrie, the annual show offers fine arts, handmade crafts, and hand decorated items as well as a wide selection of mouth-watering food and refreshments.

No matter if you are looking to spruce up your home or garden, add a new piece of jewelry to your wardrobe, or add to your collection of art, you can find what you are looking for at the Calico Arts and Crafts Spring Show. We invite you to shop among a variety of artisans and craftsmen offering unique, handmade crafts. This one-stop shopping extravaganza allows you the opportunity to shop just in time for Easter, Mother's Day, spring weddings and graduations.

We have talented crafters and artists that join the show including Jo Keith of Lazy K Leather out of LaGrange, Ga. Keith makes hand tooled and assembled leather accessories. We will have bonsai trees from Sweet Valley Bonsai Nursery out of Conley, Ga. These miniature trees are very popular, but not as easy to find as they once were. In addition, James Honey Company owned by Amanda James from Homerville will be with us for the first time. After great success attending Expo, they are joining us for Calico. Another artisan, Norman Taylor from Thomasville, will join us with his red cedar and cypress footballs, steak boxes, serving trays, mushrooms, bee traps and more.

We are also excited to have James Watson, owner of MoultrieMade, a new vendor from Moultrie, with other wood items including valet trays, cutting boards, cheese boards, and desk accessories. Watson will take custom orders for many laser engraved items.

Additionally, The Backyard Shed owned by Stacey Scott will have wall art, candles, table risers, and welcome posts with wreaths. Another artisan, Anne Mohaupt, will be here from Rockford, Ill., with her handmade shoes. These shoes have been featured in magazines and on several day-time talk shows. A long-time vendor from St. Simons Island, Dawn Neubern, will join us with her hand painted signs and popular Easter buckets. Iron City, Ga., native Charles Bush will offer a vast array of intricate, wood birdhouses. With more than 300 of the finest crafters in the business, this show features exceptional quality ensured through a jury process.

The Calico Arts and Crafts Spring Show is an anticipated shopping event for those who appreciate ornamental iron home and garden décor to painted glass and antiques to whimsical painted children's furniture and accessories… It's all together in one location. Our food vendors offer a wide variety of choices which means you won't leave hungry!

The Moultrie-Colquitt County Humane Society will also be on site adopting out furry "furever" friends all day Saturday. In addition, talented artist Julie Godwin of Florida will be painting faces.
